OLGA

OLGA's full name is "Octet Linked Graphics & Artifacts". It is an improvement proposal for Bitcoin Stamps proposed by @mikeinspace, founder of the Bitcoin NFT protocol Bitcoin Stamps. It has been activated at Bitcoin block height 833000.

The proposal brings a way to store files in conjunction with Counterparty issuance transactions, by dividing the file data into chunks and then composing multiple P 2 WSH outputs. By using the OLGA method, the size of Bitcoin transactions is reduced from the original 3 times of the file to 1.5 times, and only 11 satoshis are burned per byte, reducing the minting cost by more than 50% compared to the original method. Because it effectively reduces the problem of high casting costs of Bitcoin Stamps, OLGA’s improvement proposal is also called “Bitcoin Stamps 2.0” by some players.

DN 404 uses a "basic" ERC-20 contract and a "mirror" ERC-721 contract, making the protocol fully compliant with the existing Ethereum standard and highly efficient (low Gas).

DN 404 is actually not a new protocol. It attracted attention in February.
