Flexible Crypto Loan is Gate.io's new loan product with no fixed loan term. You can use one crypto as collateral to borrow another. With no fixed loan term, you can borrow and repay anytime and the borrowed crypto will be sent to your account in real time. The borrowing interest rate is dynamic based on market conditions. As long as your LTV is below the liquidation LTV, you can keep holding the borrowed crypto.

LTV, or Loan-to-Value Ratio, refers to the ratio of loan value to collateral value, and it indicates the risk level of the current loan.

The initial LTV is 70% and serves as a reference LTV. If you want to borrow crypto or adjust the collateral, your LTV needs to be ≤ 70%.

The alert LTV is 80%. When your LTV reaches 80%, our platform will send alert notifications to you.

The liquidation LTV is 90%. When your LTV hits 90%, liquidation will be triggered.

Interest is settled on an hourly basis. Loan period less than 1 hour is deemed as a full hour. The interest rate is dynamic based on market conditions and is updated every hour on the hour. Interest will be paid first when your repay the loan.
