### Engaging Web3 Panel Featuring Industry Leaders

Mai Ngo, Gate.io's Head of Southeast Asia will represent Gate.io at a panel taking place tomorrow Aug. 23. Mai's panel will focus on the topic "Beyond Web2: Re-invent Brand Engagement in <a href="/web3" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Web3</a>." In addition to Mai, the panel will feature James Zhang, Cofounder of Jambo, Amanda Cassatt, Founder and CEO of Serotonin, and Hosho Karasawa, Managing Director of Accenture. Felita Setiawan, Director of Coinvestasi, will moderate. The panelists will discuss the key technological barriers that traditional brands face when entering the Web3 space, the role that DAOs play in shaping the future of brand governance and customer interaction, the language that Web3 leaders and enthusiasts use to talk about Web3, and more! The panel will take place at 17:25 on Aug. 23 on the Main Stage.

Gate.HK, an independent associate company of Gate.io, will also be attending a panel on Aug. 23 of the festival as a guest speaker.  Gate.HK panel will focus on the topic "Institutions: The Big, Bad Wolf of Decentralization?" The panel will also feature Yoann Turpin, Cofounder of Wintermute, Shui Shan Shan, Institutional Growth Lead at Lido Finance, and Abel Seow, Head of APAC at BitGo. Stan Suhadi, Head of Partnerships at Coinvestasi, will moderate. The panel will take place at 14:15 on Aug. 23 on the Main Stage. And the panelists will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of institutional involvement in DeFi, whether the approval of <a href="/price/bitcoin-btc" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Bitcoin</a> ETFs signifies a positive step towards mainstream adoption, whether the centralization of power and influence by institutions compromises the decentralization decision-making process, and more!
