The Foresight News reports that ENS Labs, the parent company of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), plans to launch its own L2 network called Namechain, which is expected to go live around the end of 2025. Katherine Wu, Chief Operating Officer of ENS Labs, stated that Namechain will utilize Zero-knowledge Rollups technology to accelerate blockchain transactions and reduce execution costs by compressing the amount of on-chain data. This technology allows Namechain to process and execute transactions outside of the Ethereum mainnet while maintaining the overall security of the Ethereum network.
