Consensys, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) partnered with Liveperson, a conversational artificial intelligence company to develop VillageDAO, a crypto project which will provide customer care services to blockchain based or web 3 organizations.

In itself, VillageDAO focuses on providing decentralized customer care services to other web 3 projects. It aims to achieve this through creating, enhancing and empowering a community of crypto fans and enthusiasts who will support web 3 brands and projects. The reason behind this is that most blockchain- based organizations do not have the financial and manpower capacity to scale their customer care services.

And on the contrary, as a specialist project, VillageDao will recruit and develop a team of DAO contributors from all over the world who are willing to work with various web3 projects. According to Elo Gimenez, ConsenSys Global PR Lead, “the team will provide an extensive onboarding to new experts [and] provide best practices for brands that choose to integrate with the VillageDAO platform.”


The Relevance of VillageDAO in the Blockchain Sector


There has been a rise in the number of blockchain products and services which crypto projects are offering the market. Also, there are many projects which are in existence, creating strong competition in the industry. Yet, on the contrary most of the customers do not have full information on the products which are coming to the market. This calls for strong and relevant customer care service to help the users understand the products on the market.

As a result, in 2021, the partnership between ConsenSys and LivePerson brought LivePerson's conversational artificial intelligence technology to MetaMask in order to scale up its customer support service.

Now, the partnership between MetaMask and VillageDAO will result in decentralized customer care service for MetaMask. If this work relationship brings benefit to MetaMask, VillageDAO’s service will expand to other web3 projects.

While artificial intelligence will play a crucial function in VillageDAO’s service provision, there will be attractive incentives for community members who participate fully and constructively in VillageDAO, helping it to fulfil its mandate of helping web3 projects to provide high quality customer care services to their users.
