Developers rule the world! The rise of all WEB3 public chains is ultimately due to their ability to attract many developers to join their ecosystem. However, the proportion of WEB3 developers is only about 0.08%, and WEB3 development languages such as Solidity/Cairo/move are considered niche languages, and they cannot even enter the top 30 of the Github 2023 language library.

Ligo Network is a paradigmatic application based on AI-GAMEFI/AI-Dapps, focusing on building Python/Mojo game & AI-specific language libraries, equipped with Astar parallel computing, achieving zero threshold for developers and zero code IDE Web3 product output, and quickly building AI high-performance public chains capable of carrying massive users.

After three years of technical evolution, the Ligo Network platform has developed from Lua high-performance Virtual Machine development in 2023-2024 to Python Virtual Machine clusters in 2024-2025, and then to Mojo Virtual Machine clusters in 2025-2026. The Ligo Network team has been actively promoting the integration of the Ligo developer community and the Mojo developer community. Mojo, as the evolutionary language of AI, can truly achieve seamless integration for developers from Web2 to Web3, ultimately realizing a unified global AI+Web3 developer community and bringing large-scale industry applications to hundreds of millions of users.

The Mojo community is led by Chris Lattner, the founder of TensorFlow and Swift. The following figure shows the detailed plan of the three-year research and development roadmap of Ligo Network from 2024 to 2026. The first phase has already been implemented and launched on the Mainnet. The second phase of the product is currently being implemented, and the product plan for the third phase has been finalized.

The success of Ligo Network has also been highly recognized in Silicon Valley—the project has been selected for investment and incubation by FinAccelerate, a top Silicon Valley fintech incubator. With this support, Ligo Network will gain assistance from North American resources, accelerating its development in the global AI and Web3 ecosystem.

The design concept of Ligo Network

Ligo Network is based on the following principles:

  1. Decentralization: Abandoning reliance on centralized servers to ensure the transparency and security of the protocol.
  2. High-performance AI Virtual Machine: Upgraded AI language Virtual Machine cluster within 2 years, from Lua to Python to Mojo. By 2024, the LuaMainnet has been launched and it has become the Layer2 public chain with the highest TPS in the same track as BTC ecology.
  3. Maintain system openness: support future protocol expansion and drop the participation threshold for users and developers, such as the low-threshold developer LLM framework, to achieve Zero-Code IDE.

Technical Architecture and Consensus Mechanism Expansion

Ligo Network adopts the innovative BVM (Bitcoin Virtual Machine) and RPPOM Consensus Algorithm, supporting efficient Decentralization computing and large-scale transactions.

  1. AI high-performance Virtual Machine
  • Language Cluster Evolution: Compared with the Solidity-based parallel execution EVM, the Lua, Python, and Mojo languages are more efficient in terms of computational performance and memory handling. They are also natural languages for AI application development, meeting the needs of future AI and Web3 applications.
  • Parallel Computing Support: BVM supports parallel execution, improves processing efficiency, and achieves high-frequency transaction capability of 10,000 - 30,000 TPS, making it a performance-leading Layer2 public chain.
  • Smart Contract support: Execute complex contracts through Virtual Machine, achieve computing power similar to ETHereum, lay the foundation for Cross-Chain Interaction and multi-chain applications, and achieve ecological application prosperity.
  • RPPOMConsensusAlgorithm RPPOM (Random Pool Proof of Multi-properties) is an innovative Proof of Stake mechanism that enhances the security and Decentralization level of the network.
