Everyone is a comic master, can AI Comic Factory become a magical tool for comic creators?
Original source: AGI Innovation Lab
You dream of becoming a cartoonist, but you lack an important skill - the ability to draw. Well, now generative AI tools can help you realize these dreams. Here is an introduction to you - AI Comic Factory, which can design comic book pages for you based on the description () you provide. You can use it on the Hugging Face platform first, it is free and open source.

Describe the scene you envision, choose a style, and then choose a layout. You even have the option to add subtitles. In response, the AI will create the necessary panels to make up the entire comic page. You can then generate it page by page and save or print each page. The following introduces its principle.
How to use AI to generate comic book panels and pages
1 Enter a description of the scene and story
Launch your favorite browser and go to the AI Comic Factory web page. First, enter a description of the scene and story you want to create, as we often call it. Think about the characters you would like to see appear in your story, whether they are people, animals, creatures, superheroes, or aliens. Then, come up with a scene that describes their behavior, such as fighting, eating, or dancing. You can also describe the location of the scene and have it take place in a restaurant, on top of a building, or even in outer space.
Additionally, your description may vary depending on how many pages the comic book contains. If you are only generating one page, you need to include all elements in the description. If you're planning a multi-page comic, describe the opening scene of the first page and then build on that for subsequent pages.

2.Select style
Next, choose a style. Click the drop-down menu on the left, which uses American (Modern) as the default style. You can change the style to Japanese, UFO, Humanoid, 3D, Medieval, Egyptian, etc. Each style has a unique look and aesthetic, so you may want to try different styles to see what works best for your story.
Select style
3.Select layout
Next, click on the drop-down menu for Layout. Here, the site offers four unique layouts, each with a different number of panels in different sizes. Try each layout to see which one you like best. If you are creating multiple pages, you should also change the layout between pages.

4.Select subtitles
Next, you can optionally add a title that appears at the top of each panel. Titles are used to describe or define the scene taking place and can increase the flow and readability of each panel.
The AI may also add speech balloons to certain panels by default, although you have no control over this. The dialogue consists only of gibberish text, so it's more of a visual element that makes the page look like it's from an actual comic book.
Select subtitles
5.Generate page
When you're ready, click the "Start" button on the far right. You may need to wait a minute or two for all panels to appear. You will end up with an entire page with all panels in the layout you selected. If you want to zoom in and out, use the slider on the right.
Generate page
6.Change page
If you're happy with the page and layout, that's great. If not, take the opportunity to change any elements, such as style or layout. If necessary, click the Go button to regenerate the page after making changes.
Change page
7.Print page
Click the Print button at the bottom to see a preview of the printed page. Set any specific options for your printer, such as duplex printing. Then, print your page.
Print page
8.Save page
Click the "Save" button to save the page as a JPG file. If you want to modify the file, you can open it in any image editing software.
Here, you can also replace any garbled text in the speech balloons with real text if you want the character to speak within the context of the story.
Save page
9. Continue with your comic book
If you plan to create a multi-page comic book, continue to the second page. If you wish, you can create descriptions using the same characters, but change the scenes to move the story forward. You may want to keep the style the same but switch the layout to change its appearance.

10.Create your comic book
Once you're done, you can print all the pages and combine them together to create your own printed comic.
To create a digital version, save each page as a JPG file. Then, use Adobe's free online conversion tool to convert each JPG to a PDF file. Alternatively, click the "Print" button on the AI Comic Factory page, select the destination, and then select the "Save as PDF" option. You can then use another free tool from Adobe to merge each individual PDF into one large file.
