According to FOX Business, former CFTC chairman Chris Giancarlo is considered a top candidate for the position of "encryption czar" in the Trump administration. This position aims to promote the development of the encryption market, support blockchain technology innovation, establish a regulatory framework for the stablecoin market, and collaborate with regulatory agencies to streamline enterprise compliance processes. In addition, industry professionals such as David Bailey and Brian Morgenstern have also been proposed for advisory roles. Giancarlo currently serves as a Senior Counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher law firm, as well as a member of the advisory committees for blockchain advocacy organization Digital Chamber and stablecoin company Paxos. He is also the founder and head of the Digital Dollar Project.
