On September 18th, according to CoinDesk, the Decentralization AI Alliance (DAIS), formed by eight founding members, was officially established to address the risk of technology giants monopolizing the AI industry. The eight founding members of DAIS include CETI AI, FIL Foundation, Bloq, Hypercycle, Morpheus, Hemi, Odyssey, and Lumerin. DAIS Chairman Michael Casey was formerly the Chief Content Officer of CoinDesk and Chairman of the Consensus Conference. Casey said during the Token2049 blockchain conference in Singapore that the Decentralization AI community recognizes that centralized platforms have gained a huge first-mover advantage in the AI era, with all data, computing power, and even regulatory agencies under their control. The organization plans to address the challenges through four areas: introducing capital for Decentralization AI, participating in the formulation of AI regulatory policies, promoting Decentralization AI education, and developing new algorithms for distributed learning models.
