Fabric and Polygon collaborate to launch VPU for ZK

BlockBeats news, on September 10, Fabric announced a revolutionary hardware in collaboration with Polygon Labs, the Verifiable Processing Unit (VPU) for ZK, custom chips will change the ZK game by eliminating and maximizing the performance of persistent barriers. Entering Fabric's custom VPU (Verifiable Processing Unit), this is the next generation of native encryption hardware. Polygon Labs will invest 5 million dollars in the acquisition of server systems based on VPU, making Polygon Labs the first to invest in these chips protocol. The VPU will enable complete end-to-end systems for the Plonky2 and Polygon Plonky3 proof systems, both developed by core developers and others at Polygon Labs.
