Co-founder of Solana (SOL) Sued for Millions of Dollars!

Solana (SOL) made a name for itself with its rise to 2024, and an interesting event occurred on the Solana front in the last days of the year.

According to this, Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge was sued by his ex-wife Elisa Rossi.

Elisa Rossi claimed that her ex-husband secretly made profits and earned millions of dollars from SOL staking rewards.

Rossi, after assisting his ex-wife Akridge in the establishment of Solana Labs in 2018, stated that he became the company's chief engineer and is currently the CEO of the cybersecurity company Cyber Grant.

At this point, it is alleged that Akridge misused his expertise in cryptocurrencies to gain access to the cryptocurrency wallet and secretly misappropriated SOL staking rewards that should have belonged to him.

The couple divorced in early 2023, and Elisa Rossi received a significant amount of Solana from her ex-husband in three crypto wallets as part of the divorce agreement. However, Akridge continued to control the wallets and received the staking rewards herself.

Rossi's lawyers included in the lawsuit “Akridge granted authorization to Rossi's Solana wallet on three accounts containing Solana tokens, but Mrs. Rossi secretly continued to stake Solana tokens and earn millions of dollars worth of staking rewards until May 2024.”

In the complaint letter, it is stated that the number of SOL tokens and the amount allegedly stolen within the scope of the embezzlement incident were censored.
