Texas congressman calls for the establishment of BTC reserves

Golden Finance reported that Giovanni Capriglione, a Texas state representative, proposed a bill in December calling for the establishment of a BTC reserve in the "Lone Star State". The bill stipulates that the state of Texas must hold BTC for at least five years. According to the bill, cryptocurrencies must be stored in cold storage, i.e. on devices not connected to the internet, and these assets may not be used for transactions outside of Texas.
