Reflections after the surge in ETH price: Why do I always sell at the low point? #ETH#
I remember when the price of ETH soared to $3,000, I decisively bought in and secretly delighted. Sure enough, ETH skyrocketed to $3,500, and my mood soared with it. However, the good times didn't last long. ETH's price was like a roller coaster, soaring to $4,000 and then quickly falling back to $3,500. At this point, my mood was like being splashed with cold water. If I had sold at $4,000, wouldn't I have made an extra $500? It's the same $3,500, but my mentality is completely different.
ETH is still ETH, and it still has the potential to rise to $5000, that hasn't changed. What has changed is my mentality. If my mindset is not right, the consequences can be disastrous: either taking profits too early before the upward trend ends, or holding onto the high point after the upward trend has ended, ultimately resulting in no profit. Neither of these outcomes is what we want.
Therefore, we must learn to adjust our mentality. Never fantasize about selling at the highest point, we only make decisions based on expectations. If we believe the market will continue, then hold firmly, the pullback is only temporary, and it will eventually rise back. If we believe the market has ended, then sell decisively.
