Journey to Overcome Challenges in Crypto: Personal Story of Trading

I stepped into the crypto market about three years ago with a capital of 400 USDT. At that time, I knew almost nothing about this market. A friend introduced me to crypto, and I invested in Solana as well as traded futures without understanding how it works. In just two days, my account was wiped out. Uncommitted, I deposited another 300 USDT, but in just one week, I lost everything. With the mentality of wanting "revenge", I deposited another 500 USDT and made a bigger bet. However, tragedy continued: in just one day, I was completely liquidated. I began to feel that crypto was just a scam and no one could win in this area. I was almost giving up, but when I saw some people sharing their profits, I realized that there are still a few people making money from it. I wonder: "If they can do it, why can't I?" Initial Learning I started researching and looking for a mentor. At first, I joined some groups on TikTok, paid for some courses, but the results were still failures and account liquidations. Finally, a friend introduced me to a teacher in Dubai. However, he only teaches in person and does not take students online. Fortunately, he introduced me to another person in Asia, who specializes in online teaching. I contacted and this teacher agreed to guide me for two months with a tuition fee of 1000 USDT. Despite the difficulties, I tried to save that amount of money and started the course. The lessons from the teacher are extremely valuable. After two months, I knew how to trade profitably. I started again with a small capital of 400 USDT, followed the trading plan, and earned a small profit of 5-10 USDT per day to gradually grow my account. Training Process I spend hours monitoring charts, analyzing time frames and indicators to understand market behavior. The constant self-practice has significantly improved my trading skills. A few months ago, I decided to try my hand at futures trading again. On the first day, I was liquidated, but only lost a small amount because I was mentally prepared and only used a small portion of my futures wallet. Since then, in the past 4-5 months, I have not been liquidated again, and my account has grown to nearly 20,000 USDT. Currently, I earn about 4-5,000 USDT per month from futures trading with a futures wallet of only 1200 USDT, while keeping the majority of my capital in spot and funding wallets for long-term investment. Valuable Lessons

  1. Adhere to the Plan: Do not panic when the market fluctuates. Avoid emotional or greedy buying and selling.
  2. EMA Strategy: EMA 5 for trading on a 5-minute timeframe. EMA 21 on 15-minute and 1-hour timeframes. EMA 50, 100, and 200 for longer timeframes. Limit the use of very short timeframes.
  3. Margin and Leverage Management: Only use 5x leverage. Limit margin to no more than 1% of capital.
  4. Fibonacci: The 0.618 level is the most reliable, instead of the levels called "golden pockets."
  5. Candlestick Reading: Understanding candlestick structure is a prerequisite for successful trading.
  6. Tracking Liquidation: Knowing the liquidation levels is essential. However, be careful as many heatmap tools on the exchange may be faked to cause misunderstanding.
  7. Price Action: While fundamental factors are useful, 99% of success comes from understanding price action. Journey Ahead Now, I am much more confident in the crypto field and excited about what the future holds. I still exercise caution, avoid greed, and continue to develop my account step by step. This is not just a story about making money, but also a journey where I learn to be patient, control emotions, and constantly learn. Crypto may be a risky world, but if you are willing to dedicate and learn, you will find opportunities to succeed.
