German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom is entering the Bitcoin (BTC) mining business.

Dirk Röder, President of T-s MMS, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, mentioned at the BTC Prague event on Friday, June 14th, that Deutsche Telekom will soon engage in Bitcoin mining.

We have been running a Bitcoin node since 2023 and also running Bitcoin Lightning nodes. And with a proud heart, I want to give you a little secret: digital money photosynthesis is coming soon.

When Röder asked if T-Mobile will do Bitcoin mining, a phenomenon of Bitcoin, Joe Nakamoto, answered "yes, we will" when he wanted a clearer answer.

The company currently operates nodes for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Ethereum, and various networks. The company also has similar node operation and investment partnerships with Polkadot (DOT), Flow (FLOW), and Celo (CELO).
