Odaily Planet Daily News According to the Supreme Court of Brazil, social media X must pay a fine of about 5.2 million US dollars before it can resume services in the country. Earlier, the social media platform controlled by American billionaire Elon Musk has appointed a local legal representative and deleted inappropriate messages according to court orders. Judge Alexandre de Moraes ruled on Friday that X must pay the 18.3 million reais fine he previously ordered, as well as the 10 million reais fine he ruled last week for allowing some Brazilian users to use social media during the ban period, before it can resume operations in the country.
