Norwegian town bans Bitcoin Mining, causing a $300 surge in electricity bills per household

Golden Finance reported that Dennis Porter, co-founder of Satoshi Action Fund, stated on X platform that after a town in Norway banned BTC Mining, the electricity fee for each household pumped by $300, an increase of over 25%. After the ban was implemented, the decrease in electricity demand in the area caused the remaining users to bear higher electricity costs to compensate for the income loss caused by the exit of Mining companies. This change has triggered a follow-up on the cost allocation of power infrastructure.
