Abstract generation in progress

On August 13th, Canto announced on X that validators have temporarily suspended the network after upgrading to the V8 version due to unforeseen secondary effects caused by proposer priority issues. Bharvest is building and testing a v8.1.0 upgrade that is state compatible and will automatically handle the issue of correctly setting proposer priority. Once completed (estimated to take 15 hours), validators will be able to continue generating blocks on the V8Canto after the upgrade and patch deployment. All funds are safe. Once the chain is restored, users will be able to access all activities as usual. Yesterday, CANTO announced on X that CANTO Chain is currently experiencing Consensus issues and has therefore suspended operations. To address this issue, CANTO plans to conduct a system upgrade at 20:00 on August 12th. The official statement added that all funds are secure. Once the chain resumes operation, users will be able to access all activities as usual.
