From now on, please consider everything from the perspective of AI when looking at the future

Maybe you have long been a user of a certain AI model, using AI to help you modify code, retouch photos, translate, even make videos, and write songs. AI is a great tool, that's an undeniable fact, but have you ever thought about how AI will affect our lives in the next 10 years?

Old friends know that I was one of the people who went all in on BTC 10 years ago. Many of my articles on the future value of BTC can still be found online. Limited by the cognitive limitations at that time, there were also many mistakes, but my judgment on the future value of BTC can be firmly verified, and I have benefited greatly from executing my own judgment. However, 10 years have passed, and I believe the era of big pump in BTC's price has passed. Of course, if you consider a 3-5x increase as a big pump, I won't argue with you.

When Alibaba went public, I chose to leave the e-commerce industry. So it is logical that my attitude towards BTC has also changed when it became an ETF. I still believe that Bitcoin is the best store of value because it is the first time in human history that individuals truly own their wealth through technology.

However, as an investor, if I ignore the biggest change in the world, I will be laughed at.

I don't care about live streaming e-commerce, Metaverse, Web3, or the lightning shows of big influencers, or the waves of memes, because these are just small opportunities, not big trends. What I'm waiting for is a major trend that can be invested in.

I firmly believe that AI is such a trend opportunity, even a chance for more people to participate, because I seem to see the changes in this world caused by AI. Looking ahead 10 years, the following changes are almost visible.

Education and Residence

A few days ago, I had a whim to let AI teach me binary. In less than half an hour, AI helped me understand and learn the binary representation of simple numbers from the principle. Of course, I can also use Google to learn and verify, but the difference is that the way to learn and interact on Google is much more complex. It is almost unrealistic to rely solely on search engines to learn more in-depth content. However, for AI, as long as you are willing to learn, it can teach you thoroughly. This immersive and interactive learning method is even better than an excellent teacher. Thinking further ahead, it's very interesting. If there is an AI robot to tutor children, why should I let my child spend so much money on cram schools? Moreover, why should the teachers of this community school teach children instead of using AI trained by top-notch teachers to help them? What can schools do? Social training? Etiquette training? Physical exercise? Is there anything else? If the core function of knowledge transmission is replaced by AI, the way schools exist may change, and considerations such as school district housing are simply outdated thinking. As a result, the demand for living will also tend to choose the environment, and the concept of real estate investment will quickly change due to AI. Recently, I have been considering how to better use the TSL suite when building a house in a few years.

Interests and Hobbies

I have two hobbies: Go and billiards. If I had to choose one to cultivate a child, which one would I choose? 10 years ago, I would choose Go without hesitation because Go represents a kind of logical thinking. It teaches how to layout, accumulate advantages, break through disadvantages, and achieve a perfect ending. By learning Go, you can train your overall view and decision-making abilities, which is of great value. As for billiards, it's also fine not to play it. However, now I would definitely choose billiards, and let the child decide whether to learn Go or not. The reason is simple: Go has already been mastered by AI. The thinking method that used to represent logical thinking has become difficult to understand in AI's way. If a way of thinking cannot achieve logical consequences, its value of learning will be reduced. On the other hand, billiards not only requires thinking about how to play, but also trains physical coordination and control abilities. Due to the physical limitations, the day when general-purpose robots can defeat human billiards masters is still far away. Choosing something that is difficult to have an advantage in AI is also a way to respect the trend.

War and Peace

Even just 5 years ago, I was a war worrier. I would worry about the possibility of large-scale wars between countries on Earth. But now, despite the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, I am increasingly convinced that real large-scale wars will become less and less frequent. The Russia-Ukraine war may be the last large-scale ground force contact war between countries in human history, for a simple reason: it's not necessary! Israel's attacks on Hezbollah with BB drones may still be traditional means of attack, but the assassination of the opposing leader definitely involves AI technology. The collaboration of drones and AI makes it impossible for the initiator of the war to bear its consequences. I don't think anyone in this world would be willing to be a lifelong pawn and launch a war that would lead to a country's counterattack. Local conflicts and games will always exist, but the development of AI technology will make the possibility of large-scale ground destructive wars lower and lower.

Investment and Business

Investment and business under the trend of AI also require more macro thinking. But when I think about a choice, I will always take the possibility of AI in the future as a premise. People who invest in NVIDIA have made their first pot of gold, which is what they deserve. This is the value of their thinking. For a long time in the future, NVIDIA will still be very attractive, but this is not all about AI. I have a layout of TSL stocks, and I will only buy without selling even in the next 2 years. The reason is that TSL is the most powerful enterprise in the AI application field, but this is still not all. There are many companies that are truly related to AI, and I am not only investing in TSL. Maybe a valuable AI-related company will emerge in your familiar field, and such opportunities may not be few in the early stage of the overall AI trend. Business also requires imagination. For example, if the main road in your city has cheap land at a remote entrance in the suburbs, now is the time to acquire it. Before the emergence of TSL unmanned taxis, it can be developed into a large-scale wind and solar energy storage and charging dedicated service platform. In the future, there will always be hundreds or even thousands of unmanned taxis here for charging and cleaning. It feels like a good business. If there is an opportunity, I hope to invest in similar companies.

I have always been confident in my ability to make choices and to make decisions at critical moments, which is my strength.

Previously, my selection logic was: in the long run, does this choice add or subtract value to my life? Now, I have added a second criterion: based on the development trend of AI, is this choice valuable or meaningless? This applies not only to investing and business, but to all aspects of life. With these two criteria combined, I find that there are not too many things that I can choose to do, and observing and thinking have always been one of the most meaningful things.
