In 2024, retail investors net bought $29.8 billion of NVIDIA stocks, soaring 885% compared to three years ago.

Jinshi data on December 26th, Vanda research data shows that as of December 17th, retail investors net bought $29.8 billion of Nvidia's stock, making it the most net bought U.S. stock by retail investors in 2024. Compared to three years ago, Nvidia's net inflow of retail money this year increased by 885%. The proportion of retail investor holdings in Nvidia has also significantly increased. According to Vanda's data, Nvidia's weight in retail investor portfolios has risen from 5.5% at the beginning of this year to over 10%. Currently, Nvidia is the second largest holding of retail investors, second only to TSL.
