According to a report from Sina Technology on July 29, on Friday local time, Google released a new robot model Robotics Transformer 2 (RT-2), equipped with the latest developments in large language models, and can help train robots to understand tasks such as throwing garbage.

RT-2 is a "visual-language-action (VLA)" model. The model teaches the robot to better recognize visual and verbal patterns in order to interpret instructions and infer the best object for a request. RT-2 gives robots the equivalent of an artificial brain. This makes robots smarter and gives them new abilities to understand and solve problems.
