(1) Introduction to RedStone

RedStone is an oracle project that differs from traditional oracles like Chainlink and Pyth Network. It adopts a modular design and stores data on Arweave. The nodes act as a decentralized public cache, providing data to DeFi projects via the EVM-Connector when needed to ensure data integrity and security.

To ensure the integrity of the data, data providers must stake RedStone tokens as collateral to guarantee their ability to continue operating and providing high-quality data.

RedStone’s modular design allows it to offer push and pull oracle data services to multiple EVM and non-EVM ecosystems, rollups, and various application chains.

(2) The Role of Oracles in Blockchain

Oracles act as a bridge between the blockchain and the external world, serving as third-party tools that can transmit various types of information, such as price data, payment confirmation information, or sensor measurements.

Without oracles, smart contracts would be limited to the world of on-chain data and would not be able to access external information.

Essentially, most oracles aim to solve the problem of ensuring the reliability, authenticity, and credibility of off-chain data that serves smart contracts, while eliminating single points of failure and vulnerabilities.

However, centralized and third-party oracles do not align with the values of blockchain technology and decentralization. The uncertainty and asynchrony of external data make it difficult for nodes to reach consensus.

RedStone alleviates the challenges faced by blockchain projects by offering flexible and affordable oracle solutions. Its modular design is suitable for DeFi and is similar to blockchain’s L2, allowing it to provide push and pull oracle data services to multiple EVM and non-EVM ecosystems, Rollups, and various application chains.

RedStone enables multiple data providers to enter the blockchain ecosystem, with each provider applying different aggregation rules to offer services tailored to the needs of DeFi protocols.

The design of RedStone also ensures data integrity. Data providers are required to stake RedStone tokens as collateral to guarantee their ability to continue operations and provide high-quality data.

RedStone software is divided into two main parts:

1. Node Network: Responsible for fetching data from external sources and broadcasting it to the decentralized cache layer.
2. EVM Connector: Retrieves data from the decentralized cache layer, adds signatures and serialized information to the transaction, and then sends this transaction to any EVM blockchain the user desires, such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, or Arbitrum.

RedStone is already running on over 50 chains and can be applied to all Rollup solutions. With its unique and high-demand assets, RedStone has become one of the fastest-growing oracles in the market, trusted by top projects like Morpho, Venus, Etherfi, and Pendle.

RedStone has raised a total of $22.52 million, completed in three rounds of funding.

2. RedStone Airdrop Tutorial

For the final season of RedStone, rewards will be distributed using a character badge system. Users can earn the minimum level RedStone Miner role by completing basic tasks. In this season, the main tasks for users are both on-chain and off-chain, allowing them to earn Redstone Gem rewards (RSG).

The key points to note are:Zealy’s tasks are unlocked step by step. After the basic part is unlocked, it will be divided into Chinese and English in the vein master part. You can only choose one of the two. If you do it in both areas, your account will be banned and your rewards will be wiped out.

Although the announcement of the final airdrop event was issued on November 26, the official did not say when it will end, so you can interact until a new announcement is made.
