About Coinfest Asia

Coinfest Asia 2024 will take place on August 22nd and 23rd in beautiful Bali, Indonesia. Coinfest Asia will include a variety of intriguing presentations, events, and exhibitions. The Coinfest Asia main event will also include two fascinating panel discussions featuring some of the industry’s most distinguished leaders. Both panels will focus on topics that are very relevant to the Web3 space today and that could greatly impact the future of the industry. The event will also include booths from many of the leading crypto projects and organizations on Web3.

Two Engaging Panels Featuring Industry Leaders

The first panel topic is “Beyond Web2: Re-invent Brand Engagement in Web3.” This panel discussion will focus on the steps that brands are taking to transition from Web2 to Web3 and the strategies they are using to gain traction in the evolving digital landscape. The key technological barriers that traditional brands face when entering the Web3 space will also be discussed. The panel is currently scheduled to take place on Day 2 on the Main Stage at 17:25. Mai Ngo, Gate.io’s Head of Southeast Asia, will attend the panel.

The second panel topic is “Institutions: The Big, Bad Wolf of Decentralization?” This panel discussion will focus on the role of institutions in decentralized finance. Specifically, the question of whether institutions can coexist harmoniously with the principles of a decentralized ecosystem will be addressed. The panel will address both the potential benefits as well as the drawbacks of institutional involvement in DeFi. The panel is currently scheduled to take place on Day 2 on the Main Stage at 14:15. The CEO of Gate.HK, Kevin Lee, will be attending this panel as our guest speaker.

Gate.io will co-host the Coinfest Asia 2024 Official After Party with Alibaba Cloud. The event will take place on August 23rd in Bali, Indonesia at the Warehouse venue within Luna Beach. Over 1,000 guests are expected to attend the party. The After Party will be an ideal event for networking and celebrating the latest developments in Web3.
