Vincent is the CEO of the MUC. He’s been in the gaming and entertainment sector for over 25 years, and this means that he really understands the ins and outs about intellectual properties and user experience. My name is Yooji and I’m a Business Dev for the MUC. I’ve spent roughly 9 years in business and operations across Seoul and London. I’m still pretty new to web3 and don’t know much yet, but I’m getting better at it and picking up new insights and skills everyday. And I also want to share about Jacky. He’s the business director and my immediate boss. He has worked in the web3 scene for over 7 years and I’m picking up so much from him at work. There are many other members on the MUC team, and I’d love to introduce all of them next time. We’ve been working so hard on the MUC and I just want to say thank you to every member on the team.
MUC token is our utility token that allows users to enjoy various content within our ecosystem. We are all about developing cool content that is built on really solid and robust IPs and I must say, we’re really good at developing IP-based content. To give you a better idea of why we’re really good at it, I think I should give you a quick rundown of our parent company first. Our parent company is Commseed, a publicly listed company in Japan, and they’ve developed and serviced loads of games based on super famous IPs in Japan, like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, and Monster Hunter.
And one day, the CEO of our parent company has this idea, ‘Let’s expand the business to web3’ and set up two subsidiaries: one in Korea to handle the business side, and the other in Japan to focus on development. These two are the core of the MUC. I said that Vincent is the CEO of the MUC project earlier but technically, he’s the CEO of both subsidiaries. On a side note, I’m part of the Korean subsidiary.
Returning to the introduction of the MUC, we are preparing to reveal a wide array of content. The initial offering will be Universal Stallion, which is a web3 horse racing game, affectionately known as Unista. Next up, we’re currently creating a webtoon using our own IP. We’re going to launch it on a Japanese webtoon platform, and we will reveal the launch schedule in due course. Additionally, we’re excited about our second web3 game, which will feature a very well known IP. We will be able to share the details of the new game with you guys by the end of this year or early next year.
We’re going to keep bringing in cool stuff like games and webtoons, using our own unique IPs and some highly recognized ones. And the MUC token will play a very important role in enjoying such a variety of content. MUC is a very long-term project and we’re going to keep building on the project for decades.
Unista is the ultimate simulation game that brings you the real horse race. It’s got the actual names and stats of Japan’s legendary racehorses that have totally rocked the tracks. Players can pair up horses with our super cool and detailed breeding system, where the newborn foals may inherit traits from their parents, their grandhorses, or even their great grand horses.
Unista offers various training methods allowing players to focus on specific qualities like speed, stamina, and stability, and their horses can turn into the ultimate racing champions. When the time comes for the racehorses to retire, the journey doesn’t end there. Players can continue breeding them post-retirement and trade them on the marketplace. A new generation of horses emerges, each with its own unique traits and personality. By the way, UNISTA will have a closed beta test towards the end of April, and will go live soon after. It will be available on both iOS and Android app stores, and the cool part is that you can play it without web3 wallets or NFTs.
We will distribute 1 billion MUC over 10 years. They’re securely held in multisig wallets, which require multiple private keys for certain tasks. Basically it means that MUC is kept in a super safe fortress. 98% of MUC is securely locked up and the Total Value Locked(TVL) is just 2%. That’s way more than what you see with most web3 projects, indicating MUC has a lot of potential to grow. 45% of it is allocated for NFT staking rewards and 26% for the MUC ecosystem. It’s 5% for the founder and the team which will be distributed over the next 3 years starting this year.
