## Introduction
**Gokay (Host): **Hello everybody! Welcome back to the eleventh episode of our Gate Institutional Ask-Me-Anything series. This is Gokay from Gate.io Institutional services. Our team manages a wide range of institutional clients, including hedge funds, institutional traders, high net worth individuals, and family offices. 
So, today we have AMA series with "GoodCrypto" - crypto trading app. And I'm excited to introduce our special guest Maksim Hramadtsou - Founder and CEO of GoodCrypto. Thank you for joining our stream. Nice to meet you, Maksim! How are you? How do you feel? 
**Maksim:** Nice to meet you as well, Gokay! Thank you for having me. I'm feeling really great. I'm excited about this opportunity.
**Gokay: **That's great! 
We are excited to have you, Maksim, share your insights and expertise on GoodCrypto and the world of cryptocurrency trading. So without further ado, let's jump right into the discussion and get to know Maksim and GoodCrypto a little bit better.

**Q1: Maksim, are you ready to start? So, tell us a little about yourself. Who is Maksim Hramadtsou and what's your background?**
**Maksim:** Sure. I started quite a long ago in the corporate world. I started as management consultant. I have an MBA from Columbia business school and spent a lot of time in corporate world, most in the real estate. I used to run as a CEO of the largest Ukrainian real estate investment holding. And then as many of us, I fell down into the crypto rabbit hole and actually left the position 2018 to find what it's now known as GoodCrypto, and I've been the founder, CEO and head of product at GoodCrypto ever since.

**Q2: How did GoodCrypto come to life and how is it positioned in the market?**
**Maksim:** Yeah, there are many other projects early in the crypto world that get started as my own need. I trade and invest a lot of equities and crypto now as well, but continues to invest in equities. And when I first joined Crypto World, I realized that crypto had a lot of tools that I'm accustomed to as a trader and investor in traditional financial markets. And that's actually how the GoodCrypto was born. It's basically to address my own needs and concerns as a trading investor. And hance we've built GoodCrypto which is our all in one portfolio management app for crypto assets. And that's place where you can connect all your crypto exchange accounts and see your entire portfolio in one place, analyze the market, screen the market, set alerts to understand where the market is going, but even more, you can actually manage your portfolio in the one place. We support the 35 largest crypto exchanges more than any other on the market. And you can actually trade with a unified set of advanced trading tools on any of those exchanges, including Gate.io.

**Q3: Can you please explain how the GoodCrypto trading app works?**
**Maksim: **Sure. Basically what you have to do at first is to connect your existing exchange account to us. So whether you're trader on one exchange or you have several exchange accounts, you can connect all of them to us. Either with the use of an API key or just by logging in with your key credentials for the exchanges that have this technology. And once you have all your exchange accounts connected to us, you'll see everything that's going on with each exchange accounts, inside the GoodCrypto. And then you can create either order of trading algorithms in GoodCrypto and send them directly to any exchange inside the app and they will work in the same way. So those orders logic will be handled on our servers, but they will be executed normally on the exchanges as you expect.
**Gokay: **So we can control all kinds of exchange accounts from one place and we can create orders that will be executed in any of these accounts we want to, for example.
**Maksim:** Yes, absolutely. That's exactly how it happens. And we offer all types of orders, from advance order manuals or the types of trading stocks, to fully automated trading algorithms and an ability actually to use alerts from Trading View from the hundreds of technical indicators that they offer to trigger an order or trading algorithm on any of the exchanges that we support.

**Q4: What role do you see crypto trading apps like GoodCrypto playing in the future of trading?**
**Maksim:** I think we will play an ever more efficient role in Futures trading because we are kind of integrator app, right? So we integrate everything that happens in crypto and we don't know where crypto is going, what new use case is going to be there? A couple of years ago, no one have heard of Defi or DeXs or NFTs. Now they are integral parts of crypto. I'm pretty sure that we're still in the beginning. In 10 years time there will be a lot more into crypto that there is now. But we, as an integrator, are the only ones that will make sure to offer all of those capabilities inside the app. So we will make sure that you won't have to jump from app to app and you can stay with the single app, no matter which direction the crypto takes from here.

**Q5: How much technical knowledge is required to set up and manage the GoodCrypto app? Can a beginner get started easily?**
**Maksim:** Despite all kind of scary things like API key, it's not actually that hard. So there's still some technical steps we need to take to have to issue the API from the exchange. But even if you don't know what it is, we have a step by step instructions or you can just easily log in with your exchange credentials, and then everything goes seamlessly. The set up is pretty straightforward. And then with the trading tools, although we do offer some really advanced tools, we can ensure that the whole setup is very easy to use and intuitive. Anything, you knows as a trader. Everything is inside the app with a great interface for you. It's completely easy to understand how that works and how to set it up. So, even if you were just starting your cryptojourney, GoodCrypto is there for you to use.

**Q6: Can users customize their trading strategies with GoodCrypto?**
**Maksim: **Yes, despite our focus on the mission, we are also focusing very much on the ease of use and kind of intuitive user experience. We offer endless possibilities of customization for even the most demand of traders. So whether you want to trade manually or especially if you want to use some technical indicators, you can do that, right? So all our trading strategies can be either set up in a manual mode or make it more automated depending on what you want. If you want to just have vanilla settings, you just can go with that. But if you're really demanding trader, we have endless possibilities for each of the algorithms. And as I mentioned, we have the ability to use alerts from Trading View and hundreds of technical indicators or actually excellent chart drawings. So if you use that, then you basically have the possibility to use them to trigger any order or any trade in any of the 35 exchanges in the app. That gives you endless possibilities of trading strategies and customization, as customizable as is humanly possible.

**Q7: What sets GoodCrypto apart from other crypto trading apps?**
**Maksim:** Sure, so first and foremost, we're one of the only all-in-one apps. So we not only offer the ability to analyze the market, and trade your entire portfolio, but actually, traders can use all the available trading tools, under one umbrella and in one app. That's one.
Secondly, we offer the same functionality on every platform. So whether you use IOS or Android or you trade on the web from the desktop, our app is there for you and 100% functionality is available on the platform.
Third, we support more exchanges than any other app in the market. We support 27 Spot exchanges and 9 Futures exchanges that are way more than any other competitor app. We give you a lot of flexibility. But actually even more important is our relentless focus on the user experience of this interface. So we make sure that even the most advanced trading tools are easy to set up and use. And that's something that is most often overlooked by trading apps in crypto space.

**Q8: How has GoodCrypto's experience been so far working with Gate.io?**
**Maksim: **That experience has been great. We've been integrated with Spot trade on Gate.io for almost 4 years now. And even in Spot trading Gate.io offers a lot of coins and tokens to trade, a lot of opportunities that cannot be found on any other exchange. And recently we've integrated the Gate.io Futures as well and that is just something else. I mean both me and our users, we really enjoying that. You can find some instruments with very good liquidity that are not available elsewhere. For example, from the top of my head, FTT token, which is available as futures/derivatives to trade only at Gate.io according to my knowledge. And that's a great token for all kinds of trading and for DCA trading on technical indicators and we haven't been able to offer that to our users. So that was really valuable for us and we are really happy that we are having a great experience with Gate.io.

**Q9: Can you provide any insights into the future direction or plans of GoodCrypto?**
**Maksim: **Right now we're kind of focused more on building out the trading features on centralized exchanges. But our next step is to actually integrate decentralized exchanges as well. We know the DEXs are desired in terms of trading in the crypto space. We believe most of the tools that we offer now for centralized exchanges can be used on DEXs as well. So that's the next step for us. And the next step after that, since we understand that there are other asset classes and either equity will come to crypto as tokenized equity or cryptos will expand there. So I think we are looking forward to bringing other asset classes inside the platform as well.

**Q10: And finally, what is the most important point you want our audience to take away from today's AMA session?**
**Maksim:** I think the most important point is this: If you are an active trader who has several accounts in several exchanges and several wallets, then the value proposition of GoodCrypto is quite obvious to you. But even if you're just a trader that just trades on single exchanges or Gate.io, GoodCrypto can offer you a lot of trading tools that will enhance your trading experience on Gate.io and that will give you an edge and ultimately result in a better PNL and you will become a better trader always using GoodCrypto on Gate.io or whether you are a new trader who is just starting or very experienced trader or a very demanding trader, we have the tools you need available for you.

**Q11: Do you have any guidelines or articles on your website that people can visit to gain more knowledge about GoodCrypto?**
**Maksim:** Absolutely yes. We have a lot of guys on the website, to help with how crypto works and all of the trading strategies in crypto engineering. We have a YouTube channel where we kind of go into detail how to set up and kind of the nitty gritty details of all the trading in GoodCrypto as well.

**Maksim:** Just simple things, as always the crypto market has its ups and downs. Now we're kind of in the downtrend. But you know, everyone has to understand it's still a very early days. If you just came to crypto, it's still early. In 2 years time, you'll be very happy that you came to crypto. So you know, just keep it up and don't give up.
