In a significant step towards combating breast cancer in Benin, Gate Charity successfully hosted the **"Gate Charity Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Event"** on 27 October 2024, at J.Reside Cotonou in Benin. Coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event underscored the critical importance of early detection and education in the fight against one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide.

The event catered specifically to the local needs where access to affordable healthcare and preventive services remains a challenge. By offering free screening services, Gate Charity empowered many women to take proactive steps toward their health without the burden of financial constraints.
