## Q&A from Gate.io
### Q1: Could you introduce the Mobox project?
**Ivan**: MOBOX is a platform that combines the best of DeFi Yield Farming with Gaming NFTs.

The team has been building dapps for the last 4 years and has been lucky enough to have had 2  projects listed on the Binance launchpad.

We actually come from the traditional gaming industry, developing and publishing multi million dollar mobile and browser games.

The MOBOX platform launched on April 6th, and in this short time period, thanks to the community we have reached many milestones including a TVL of over 400,000,000, Over 100,000,000 in NFT trades, and over  800,000 unique NFTs minted on the Binance Smart Chain.

The platform comes with its own mobile app, with three games making use of unique MOMO NFTs.

Currently there are 2 games out and 3rd one is to be out by the end of the year ( aiming)

In terms of what GameFi is and free to play, play to earn. I guess everyone has different ideas on how it should look like and what it is.

Our idea of GameFi is how we can create an ecosystem that combines decentralized finance with gaming NFTS, not just to create a play to earn ecosystem, but also a free to play and play to earn ecosystem. So in simple terms, the way the platform works is that users can stake <a href="/price/pancakeswap-cake" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">PancakeSwap</a> MBOX/<a href="/price/bnb-bnb" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">BNB</a> LPs to farm MBOX tokens.

These MBOX tokens can then be staked on the platform for users to enter a Mystery BOX raffle, Gem Raffle, and today we just introduced one of our partners raffles MDEX.every week a certain number of Mystery Boxes are up for raffle including Gems, and MDX Box's,  winners of the Mystery Boxes can unlock them to find unique NFTs

These NFTs can be used across all games, and staked on the platform to farm more MBOX tokens. MBOX tokens are also the main currency used across all the games.

### Q2: Ok very interesting… and you mentioned MOMOs.. What are those?
**Ivan**:  These are some of our MOMO"s that are currently for sale on the mobox.io nft marketplace.

So MOMOs are the names we have given our NFTs.  These NFTs come in different qualities ranging from common, uncommon, rare, unique, epics and we also have LEGENDARY MOMO;s

The NFT's you get from the Mystery Boxe's  all come with something we call hashpower, hashpower is the energy used to calculate how many MBOX tokens a user can farm on a daily basis.  Hash Power can also be upgraded by consuming other NFTS, giving the NFTs a deflationary model and ensuring a balanced supply and demand.

There are unique limited edition NFTs that we call Legendary MOMO NFTs. These NFTs are auctioned off once a week on the MOBOX platform using the MBOX tokens.  All tokens used for the auction are burned.

So this is basically how the platform works, and how we put our vision of GameFi : Free to play and play to earn into reality.

### Q3: So you also mentioned that  MOMO NFTs have multiple functions within the platform, could you elaborate on that?
**Ivan**: Yes , that is correct they do.

All the MOBO NFT's can be used across our platform and be used to play and participate in the mobox games.

They all also mine the MBOX token.

Users can also decide to trade them within our NFT marketplace or even rent them out to other users.

We have actually managed to find a way on how users can rent out their MOMO NFT's to other users all via smart contracts.

For example if you are an NFT investor, but you don't play games.  You can add your NFT to the lending marketplace, and gamers can rent them for a time period of time that you have chosen and fee.

### Q4: Ok, very cool and how about your token? What is the MBOX token?
**Ivan**: Well MBOX is the utility token used across the whole MOBOX ecosystem. The token is released over a 5 year schedule and has  a max total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. But due to our burning the max supply now is 991,123,060 tokens.

Users can farm MBOX tokens through MBOX/BNB LP, staking their MOMO NFTs, and playing all the MOBOX games across the platform. We have also implemented a unique burn mechanism for the MBOX token.

For example, about 80% of all fees (NFT Marketplace) are put into an auto buyback and burn pool.  This unique system calculates the average price of MBOX over a 72 hour period.

Anytime the price falls below that, the smart contract automatically purchases MBOX tokens from PancakeSwap and burns them.

Thus creating a lower supply !

Currently in our buyback pool we have over $6.5 million BUSD in the pool. with over 8,800,000 MBOX tokens already burned.

As MBOX token is also the main currency through the MOBOX games, all MBOX tokens consumed within the games are also all burned at the end of each season, we usually do those burns on a Friday afternoon.

And also announce the details via our social media channels.

MBOX token can also be staked on the platform for a certain amount of days ( this is what we call veMBOX).  Users stake MBOX to enter raffles for Mystery Boxes, GEM's ( which are used for skills within our games) . MDEX raffles, as well as voting on platform governance decisions.

Currently over 20% of circulating supply is staked for an average of 219 days. So we are making sure we have a balanced release and burn schedule, thus creating a deflationary model.

### Q5: Ok and talking about games....How many NFT Games have you released and what is to come?
**Ivan**: We have already fully launched ONE  game that makes use of MOMO NFTs and the free to play,  play to earn ecosystem.

That game is called MOMO : Token Master.

Token Master is a simple and casual PvP game, where users choose 3 different MOMO NFTs to battle against one another, and rank on the leaderboard.

There are a total of 3 leaderboards, where the top 500 users on each leaderboard get MBOX token rewards at the end of the season. Each season lasts for 1 week.

Currently we are making some adjustments for this token master game, and the new season will kick start again from this Thursday.

MOMO Block Brawler is an RPG Game, where each season lasts for 1 month.  Users can buy, sell, and trade not just MOMO NFTs but also different weapons and equipment. Complete quests, and battle one another to get ranked on the leaderboard. The goal is to have 3 in house games developed by the end of the year.

And in terms of what else is to come.

We will have 2 more systems coming up:
1. MOMO NFT creator : Artists and players can create their own MOMO NFT designs.  The community can then vote on which ones get added to the ecosystem.

The creator of the NFTs gets a fee for each transaction/trade.

His voting would be done through our governance token (vembox) . We have just launched our governance voting site last week and that will be fully operational shortly.

The second thing we will introduce is the
Game Creator :
Game creator is a set of APIs that allow other game developers to connect  to the MOBOX GameFi ecosystem and make use of all MOMO NFTs.

We believe in building a platform where there are many different types of games, and not just one genre.  We do not believe that there is "one game that suits all players".

Rather we want to have a healthy ecosystem, where any type of gamer can freely play and play to earn no matter what game genre they enjoy.

And we believe that players who spend all this time playing games, should get rewarded rightfully so. 
There is no game, no platform, no ecosystem, without players and the community.

And for Game creator we are currently in talks with 2 gaming development teams  that we had prior relationships with, so hopefully we will get some games launched on our platform by these 2 teams by the end of the year.
