With a max prize pool of $5 million, Season 2 of Gate.io's World Cup Trading Competition (WCTC) is heating up. The competition brings crypto traders together to see who can win the crown as a world-class futures trader.
Competitors will battle in three main futures trading competitions: team-based, individual, or record-breaking. With the latter, teams compete to break Season 1 leaderboard records. The ranking categories include total profit amount, profit rate, and volume, giving both small and large traders a fair chance.
Beyond the prize pool, WCTC features a variety of other bonus prizes and rewards for participation, team leading, referrals, volume milestones, and much more. The prizes range from multipliers on winnings and thousands in USDT to Mutant Ape Yacht Club fractional NFTs and guaranteed lucky draw prizes.
So far, over 10,0000 users have registered worldwide, and the competition is set to commence on August 26th. However, registration will remain open until September 12th for any latecomers.

We're bringing together futures traders from across the crypto community, large and small, new or old, to come together in a friendly competition to test and broaden their skills."
WCTC is unique in that it offers futures traders of all skill levels to have a chance. Even if a competitor isn't a whale, there is still an opportunity to win, as the competition ranks total profit amount and profit rate separately. Further, even if a team or individual doesn't top the charts, there are plenty of opportunities to earn bonus rewards from various activities. Lastly, there's no cost to compete, so for traders already in the futures markets, there's little reason not to enter.
Competitors will utilize the extensive trading tools put forth by Gate.io's futures trading platform, which supports USDT, USD, and BTC perpetual contracts, delivery contracts, and quantitative strategy tools. In addition, newly registered users can earn up to $500 in contract bonuses, borrow up to 100,000 USDT with no interest, and access discounts through Gate.io's VIP tiers.
