### Q1: What is poundtoken or GBPT?

**Mike**: GBPT is the first British-Isles regulated GBP stablecoin. It’s also the first stablecoin audited monthly by a big-4 accountancy firm: KPMG.

### Q2: Can you tell us more about its legitimacy?
**Mike**: Poundtoken is financially regulated in the British Isles. The issuer, Blackfridge SC Limited, has a Financial Services License from IOM FSA.

### Q3: Is it fully collateralized or algorithmic?
**Mike**: It's fully backed by GBP cash in a European bank. It's not an algorithmic stablecoin.

### Q4: Can you briefly discuss how your reserves can be proved?
**Mike**: We will publish monthly attestations provided by KPMG. This transparency will assure holders that all GBPT is 100% backed in GBP. We’re also developing real-time proof of reserve with <a href="/uk/price/chainlink-link" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Chainlink</a>… to be available in the coming months.

### Q5: So what trading pairs are currently available on Gate.io?
**Alan**: We have 3 trading pairs now. GBPT/BTC, GBPT/ETH, and GBPT/USDT. We will offer more pairs in the future.
