It is wise to clear the browser cache regularly, say once per week to reduce the chance of unauthorized applications accessing your information. In addition, use a reliable antivirus program to check your computer for viruses. 

Lastly, you should use a strong password which should have between 8 and 12 alphanumeric characters. It should include small and large capitals as well as numerical digits.
