## Q1. Each project has its own story. Wondering if you can share your story or inspiration for the NCN project? What were the early days of the project like?
Back at the end of 2022, I was a CTO of Gamestarter. I onboarded Paulius, our current CTO and an actual PhD in AI, to “play around” with AI for Gamestarter. AI is a very hot topic, and Gamestarter is still a hot launchpad. But the only successful thing we achieved was racking up AWS bills before even launching anything. The market opportunity was obvious, and we decided to use the best of my infrastructure and <a href="/es/web3" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">web3</a> experience, combined with the CTO’s AI knowledge, to solve this problem for ourselves and thousands of businesses and developers across the world building AI.

## Q2. Tell us about your ecosystem. What besides the token is included in your ecosystem, and what are you working on now? Will there be any platform releases soon?
First and foremost, NeurochainAI is a decentralized AI-as-a-service infrastructure for developers to efficiently build, deploy, and run AI dApps under one platform, connecting DePIN, community-powered data collection & validation, a marketplace of quantized AI models, interoperability tools, and a dApp store. This is all live in an MVP that can be accessed via our dashboard even today.

The most recent launch is our mobile app, currently in closed beta testing with more than 3K users from 183 countries. These users are testing the app before it becomes available to everyone through the Google Play Store. The main feature of the app is leveraging mobile hardware resources to compute AI.

## Q3. How is the $NCN token integrated into the economy of the NeurochainAI platform?
$NCN is the main currency for all the services across NeurochainAI. Developers and the community get paid for their hardware and other contributions in $NCN, and developers who build on NeurochainAI have to pay in $NCN.

## Q4. What are the main advantages of using NeurochainAI compared to other AI platforms?
There are multiple differences from different angles. First, it’s our community-centric approach. Second, it’s our all-encompassing tech. The majority of other platforms in the AI space are building either DePIN for AI compute, AI agents, or data collection and validation services. We’re a one-stop-shop platform that has it all under one roof, as you could see from the initial example. Third, it’s who we see as our main customers going forward after TGE.

We’re here to support innovation and new business model creation in the AI space, which is limited by cost and time factors for the majority of developers. The reality is that I’ve seen multiple companies sharing their $200k or even $1M worth of bills from OpenAI. AWS lacks infrastructure, which increases costs and prevents developers and SMBs from entering the AI revolution. We believe that by 2030, the majority of digital solutions will be powered by AI, and we’re making sure it’s powered by NeurochainAI. If it wasn’t for an app store, maybe we wouldn’t have Uber and Airbnb today, so the AI-based business models of the future also need infrastructure that enables them.

## Q5. What benefits do Neuron Validators have? Can you also explain the three types of Nodes Across NeurochainAI?
Our AI layer is Layer 3, as AI is fully interoperable and should not be limited to a certain chain or tech. Our NCN chain is Layer 1. We needed a clever and unique consensus algorithm to guarantee seamless proof and attribution of rewards for work done on Layer 3 and rewarded on Layer 1. That’s where our neuron nodes come in. Today, along with TGE, we’re launching the early Neuron Node network on a FCFS basis, where anyone who stakes 12k NCN can get a Neuron NFT and become a node holder on the NCN Chain.

There are only 10k nodes at this early stage required for the network’s growth. As a reward, the 10k node holders will share 180M NCN, vesting on a daily basis for 365 days or until we start mining new coins, in which case we’ll fully unlock the rewards pool to these early node holders. Last but not least, our 3-node giveaway is still running until 10 AM UTC today. Anyone interested still has time to participate and tap into the 180M NCN rewards pool.
