This is the eighth episode of the Gate Institutional AMA series with "Bitsgap", a cryptocurrency trading platform that offers trading bots, portfolio management, and demo trades. In this episode, our special guest Egor, Customer Support Team Lead at Bitsgap, providing insights into Bitsgap's business model, services, and future plans. He discusses how Bitsgap's trading bots work, what sets them apart from other bots, and how they mitigate risk in the volatile cryptocurrency market. **Gokay (Host):** Hello everybody! Welcome back to the eighth episode of our Gate Institutional Ask-Me-Anything series. This is Gokay from Gate.io Institutional services. Our team manages a wide range of institutional clients, including hedge funds, institutional traders, high net worth individuals, and family offices. 
So, today we have AMA series with "Bitsgap" - trading platform that offers cryptocurrency trading bots, portfolio management, and demo trades. And I'm excited to introduce our special guest Egor - Customer Support Team Lead at Bitsgap. Thank you for joining our stream. Nice to meet you, Egor! How are you? How do you feel? 

**Egor: **Hi Gokay! Everything feels great. Thank you for the invitation. I'm glad to be here and I would like to talk more about our platform.

**Gokay: **That's great! 
Bitsgap wishes to ensure their privacy and not show their personality, so today's AMA episode will be in audio format. However, this will not prevent Egor from sharing his expertise and experience in the world of cryptocurrency trading.
So without further ado, let's jump right into the discussion and get to know Egor and Bitsgap a little bit better.

**Q1: Egor, tell us a little about yourself. Who is Egor? And what's your background?**
**Egor:** Sure. My name is Egor. I'm a Customer Support Team Lead at Bitsgap. In short, I've been in this position for five years now, and what I do is organize the support team's work and ensure that every user gets a detailed answer to their question. So I ensure the service on this site.

**Gokay:** Alright, so you're the one of those who is taking the lead behind this great service. It's great to know.

**Q2: Can you explain Bitsgap's business model and the services you offer to your clients in the cryptocurrency industry? **
**Egor: **We offer a platform for crypto trading automation using advanced technologies and strategies. You connect your exchange to Bitsgap using an API, set parameters for your bot, and it trades in uninterrupted mode while you can go about your business. We help traders optimize their trading and rest time because overtrading is common.

**Q3: What is Bitsgap's current focus?**
**Egor:** Generally, I would say that our approach has remained unchanged. We have always focused on providing secure and automated cryptocurrency trading. And well, we do our best to provide our clients with the tools they need to optimize and automate their trades. If we go more about niche or more narrow focus, I would say we do separate our forces between many different things. 
As for our future plans, I'm afraid I can't divulge any specific details at this time, as this information has not yet been made public. However, I can say with confidence that we are committed to continually improving our products and services, and our customers will see them in the future.

**Q4: Can you explain in detail what crypto trading bot is? And how does your crypto trading bot work?**
**Egor: **A crypto trading bot is an automated software program that buys and sells cryptocurrencies based on predetermined rules and algorithms. It can help traders to save time and improve their efficiency by executing trades automatically. So you can do some things that you wouldn't be able to do manually. Or in other cases, you can do the same things manually, but it would take such tremendous amount of time that you wouldn't want to do it.

**Gokay: **And most importantly, I think that there are no emotions.

**Egor: **There are no emotions involved for sure. Therefore, it wouldn't act on impulse and make impulsive buying or selling decisions in case of unforeseen events. Instead, it would follow a set of rules, as one should do when being traded. 
Bitsgap crypto trading bots use complex algorithms to analyze market data and execute trades automatically. Our users can offer a range of features, such as portfolio management, backtesting, customize their trading parameters and set risk management rules to minimize losses. 

**Q5: What sets Bitsgap apart from other trading bots?**
**Egor: **We can talk more about the things that we do provide. I believe that many of our customers, as well as those of you who are listening now, are aware that there may not be a significant difference between certain services, at least at first glance. Bitsgap stands out from other trading bots due to our user-friendly interface, advanced trading features (such as Trailing Up and Down, Stop Loss and Take Profit, and many others), risk management tools, and portfolio management. It's really easy to set everything up. We are very transparent, so we don't hide anything from our customers. We show everything as it happens: every transaction, every little detail, and The Gr<area>aph. So you can track progress and identify what went wrong or right. 
Additionally, we support a wide range of cryptocurrency exchanges and offer a variety of trading tools to help users make informed trading decisions. For example, the Backtest feature allows our users to test their trading strategies with historical data, enabling them to refine and optimize their strategy. We only do things that are good for our customers, not things that are good for making money for ourselves.

**Q6: How does Bitsgap mitigate risk and handle unexpected market fluctuations? **
**Egor: **We have a set of classic risk management tools, including stop losses, take profits, trailing stop losses, trailing take profits, as well as a few more features such as trailing up and trailing down. Take Profit allows our users to fix the expected profit %. Stop Loss is the classic order to minimize losses. Trailing Take Profit allows you to trail the market price and fix the profit most efficiently.These features enable the pot to follow the trend or the price, even if it goes slightly beyond the range you intended to trade. We do offer Pump & Dump Protection that is enabled by default, which allows you to limit the risks and adapt your strategy.

**Q7: What security measures do you have in place to protect users' API keys and account information? How is the data encrypted and secured?**
**Egor:** Bitsgap uses an encrypted API connection without access to user funds or personal data. So the only thing we collect from our side is your email. Because we have to add your account to something reliable and exist in the real world, we have to create it. And that's basically the only thing that we have from you. We never have access to your funds, personal information or information from the exchange.
In addition, we have a rule of one account - one API key. That means the same API key can not be used in two different services. Even if someone were to gain access to your API key, they would not be able to use it because you are already using it. And, of course, 2048-bit RSA encryption. All information delivered to our servers is encrypted with 2048-bit standard protocols and stored on a secure network. 

**Q8: How much technical knowledge is required to set up and manage your crypto trading bots? Can a beginner get started easily? **
**Egor: **Trading certainly requires a lot of knowledge and skills to become a profitable trader. However, that does not mean you can't try your hand at Bitsgap. Even if you are a beginner, we are pleased to offer you some options. Let's assume that we have default settings. We analyze the market and observe how it moves and changes. With just a few clicks - typically 3, 4 or 5 - you can activate any bot. There won't be any issues for you in terms of understanding what the bot does, and you can always give it a try. You don't have to be a professional to activate a bot; the results depend on your actions. If you want better results, you will need some knowledge, but this doesn't mean that you can't try it. For example, we are glad to offer a free seven-day Pro trial period of the service, where everyone can study the platform and decide whether automated crypto trading suits them or not.

**Gokay: **Okay, that's great. So, if I'm interested, I will have a 7-day demo account, and I can start my trading bot with default settings, like what Bitsgap is providing me. After that, if I want to improve, I can set up my own settings according to my knowledge and professionalism.

**Egor:** In a way, yes.

**Q9: How do you interact with exchanges and other market participants? And how has Bitsgap's experience been so far working with Gate.io?**
**Egor: **We value our partners very much and choose each of them responsibly. We understand that the market is full of different exchanges, services, providers, but we choose only the best for long and productive cooperation!

**Q10: Can you provide any insights into the future direction or plans of your company?**
**Egor:** We are concentrating on optimizing the platform's architecture, releasing a mobile app on Google Play and the App Store. Okay, I believe this is big news for many of our customers and for those who are just joining us. We are now developing more ready-made strategies for our bots. This means you will have the option to choose from strategies that are already pre-set, without having to worry about setting things up yourself. However, this doesn't necessarily mean it's a recommendation or that you should choose it over everything else. You are the main character in this story, so you have the freedom to set everything up according to your preferences. But if you're interested in trying something new, this might be the best option for you. We are constantly adding new tools for our futures trading, and we make sure to share every little update on our social media platforms. **Q11: And finally, what is the most important point do you want our audience to take away from today's AMA session?**
**Egor:** Probably the main thing I would like to say is one of the main values of our service - trading is not always stressful and sleepless nights. We invite you to try our platform. It's a great platform, and we strive to provide the best service for you. However, it's important to note that our platform is not a Sec<area>ret button" that generates money. It's a tool - a very useful, interesting, and advanced tool - that you can use to your advantage. We recommend spending some time exploring it. You can start with 20 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, or even a day or a week. Once you familiarize yourself with it, you will see the many benefits it offers. We suggest giving it at least a week to fully experience its features. Even if it doesn't seem suitable for you initially, you can still try it in demo mode to further assess its capabilities.
