Another Altcoin Investor Falls Victim to FOMO: Lost 90% of Their Money - Coin Bulletin

An altcoin investor, driven by fear of missing out, invested in a project that became popular in a short time and lost 90 percent.

According to the data shared by the on-chain and analytics platform Lookonchain, an investor spent approximately 89.6 thousand dollars by FOMO (fear of missing out) on the HYENA token. However, within 14 hours, the value of this investment dropped to only 8.794 dollars, and the investor experienced a loss of 80.8 thousand dollars (90 percent).

Although the price of HYENA token initially showed a rapid rise for early buyers, it quickly experienced a sharp decline. This situation once again highlights the potential for hasty investments to result in significant losses, especially in tokens with low liquidity and high volatility.

Experts warn investors to carefully analyze before investing in such projects and not to make sudden decisions. Especially the FOMO feeling created by the influence of social media often opens the way for irrational purchases and high losses.
