Crayon Shin-chan is about to land! LINE will launch Mini DApp next year, check out 5 selected games in advance

Users will be able to launch Mini DApp directly in the LINE messaging app or operate in the DApp Portal.
The first wave selected 30 Mini DApps from 800 applications.
LINE NEXT and Kaia will showcase selected Mini DApp services at the 2024 Taipei Blockchain Week.
LINE NEXT Inc., a subsidiary of LINE dedicated to developing the Web3 ecosystem, announced today its collaboration with Kaia Foundation to launch several Mini DApps and DApp Portal services in the first quarter of 2025. Users will be able to directly access them within the LINE messaging app.

LINE NEXT and Kaia Foundation have selected 30 Mini DApp projects from the Kaia Wave program to assist Web3 developers in bringing Kaia's DApp technology into the LINE messaging software. Kaia Wave is a program launched by LINE NEXT and Kaia Foundation to support global Web3 developers in the Kaia ecosystem. Since September 2024, 800 teams have applied, and the first round selected 30 teams.
LINE NEXT and Kaia plan to select at least 150 teams in the first half of 2025, and more will be selected in the future. The complete list of selected teams will be announced on LINE NEXT's DApp Portal Medium channel and Kaia Wave official website.
The selected team includes:
Bombie: developed by Pluto Studio, its mini-app project has attracted 43 million users in just six months, and achieved the top sales volume ranking.
Shin-chan’s Match Daily: A small game based on the super popular comic "Crayon Shin-chan".
Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- on LINE: A game based on the popular football manga "Captain Tsubasa".
Heroic Arena: A placement click Mini DApp with ACG (animation, comics, games) style, where players can use heroes to battle in an immersive multiplayer online combat universe.
Superz: A health and fitness entrance DApp specially designed for non-encrypted users, seamlessly integrating fitness habits with real rewards.
Each team will receive a software development kit (SDK) for developing the Kaia DApp. Kaia Wave will also provide assistance for fee payment, joint marketing activities, and diversified investment opportunities from Kaia Wave. With these resources, developers' Mini DApps can directly integrate with the LINE communication software and go live on the LINE NEXT DApp Portal in the first quarter of 2025.
Users can directly launch DApps in LINE messaging software through the DApp Portal. By using the service, users can receive rewards and conduct virtual asset transactions. Mini DApps, DApp Portal and LINE NEXT are committed to providing a Web3 experience without barriers and popular, convenient and user-friendly services.
LINE NEXT announced the release of the software development kit, a developer platform that enables companies and projects to easily develop and deploy Mini DApps on the Kaia chain. In addition to the developers selected by the Kaia Wave program, LINE NEXT will also support other developers who are interested in launching Web3 services to achieve the true popularization of Web3 services.
