Asahi Shuzo, the producer of the well-known Japanese sake brand 'Dassai', announced the introduction of the traceability service 'SHIMENAWA' in its highest-grade product 'Dassai Beyond the Beyond 2024'. This service combines blockchain and NFC (Near Field Communication) tags. It was jointly developed by SBI Traceability Company and Uni Tag, and has successfully developed the world's first NFC tag applicable to titanium materials with tamper-evident functionality, realizing integration from product authentication to circulation management.

Traditional NFC tags will affect the frequency of the internal antenna when in contact with titanium and other metal materials, resulting in unreadable data. Therefore, for 'Dassai Beyond the Beyond 2024', the team has developed NFC tags that can be read normally on titanium bottles and have tamper-evident features. By linking the unique ID recorded in the NFC tag with the digital information on the blockchain, certification of the product manufacturer is achieved. At the same time, consumers only need to scan the NFC tag with their smartphones to verify product information and the manufacturing process.

Support for five languages, providing special content
SHIMENAWA system supports five languages: Japanese, English, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. After scanning the NFC tag, consumers can not only view detailed product information, but also gain access to exclusive special content after completing the unsealing registration. This not only enhances the transparency of the product, but also brings a unique interactive experience to consumers.
In addition, Xuzhou Sake Brewery plans to collaborate with its SBINon-fungible Token subsidiary to launch a customer engagement program using its SBINon-fungible Token Mits service.
