On November 8th, according to Coindesk, the Republican Party seems to continue to control the House of Representatives and complete a three-peat after reversing the situation in the Senate and the White House in the 2024 election cycle. As of the time of writing, the Associated Press has announced 409 seats out of 435, with the Democratic Party winning 199 seats and the Republican Party winning 210 seats. The party that first obtains 218 seats will win the majority. According to the Associated Press statistics, as of 6:30 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, the Republican Party is leading in at least 14 out of the remaining 27 races, which means that if these results remain unchanged, they will maintain the majority for at least the next two years.
