Wu learned that the Base Chain AI Launchpad project CreatorBid was scheduled to hold a public sale for Token BID on December 9th on the Fjord Foundry platform, but encountered multiple attacks resulting in the failure of issuance. The attacks included a large-scale DDoS attack (over 7.5 billion requests), bypassing the $10,000 purchase limit per Wallet, and frontend functionality failure. Smart Contract records show that 2.5 million USDC was received within a mere 40 seconds, with a single Address accumulating Token purchases worth as much as $500,000. CreatorBid announced that it will not recognize any Token generated from this sale, and the Tokens will be considered worthless. The project party plans to initiate full refunds for legitimate participants and requires all refund applications to undergo AML/KYC verification to ensure that funds will not return to malicious actors. The application deadline is 14 days, and funds not applied for will be claimed by the project party.
