Today's Topic - Blizzard is investigating players' interest in NFT and P2E games
According to Video Games Chronicle, Blizzard is investigating players' interest in NFTs and P2E cryptocurrency games. Some players were asked to complete a YouGov survey this weekend, which mentioned the above technologies.
One part of the survey asked participants how interested they would be if Activision Blizzard's products introduced cryptocurrency and NFT, as well as more traditional functions such as cross platform online warfare, VR and sub_script_ion services. It should be noted that Activision Blizzard has not officially entered the NFT field.
It was reported in early April that Activision Blizzard was considering adding NFT elements to the upcoming Call of Duty series. However, due to the general resistance to crypto in the game industry, such as the announcement by the game platform Steam that NFT games have been banned, the proposal is still in the early stages of discussion.
Do you think Blizzard will adopt P2E?
