## Q&A from Gate.io
### Q1:  Please tell us about Akita Network and $Akita Inu token.
**Arthur**: I think that most of the people already know us.

On February 1, 2021, the AKITA token was launched on the <a href="/zh-tw/price/ethereum-eth" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Ethereum</a> network(also bridged to <a href="/zh-tw/price/avalanche-avax" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Avalanche</a> blockchain). One of the original "meme coins" to follow DOGE and then SHIB, Akita Inu was launched with a maximum supply of 100 Trillion (100,000,000,000,000) AKITA tokens.

AKITA is so OG that there are no taxes or fees incurred during transfers, sells, or buys. As a "social experiment" or marketing gimmick, they also sent 50% of the supply to Vitalik Buterin's wallet, attempting to call these tokens "effectively burned." These are the basics for AKITA INU.

### Q2: So what makes you different from other projects/communities in space?
**Arthur**: Well it's difficult to be different when around us there's so many other projects.

But we have few key elements. That gives us an advantage and also makes us different.

First of all it's People in our Community! Trustful and Supportive!

Secondly. Like it was already mentioned we're OG #Meme. Battle tested.

Next one is very important. We've our own DAO! That's a big step up for us!

And lastly. We have a Secured Funding stream. That'll come till 2027 Q1. Not so many other projects have Funding streams!

### Q3: So you mentioned some funding streams. How do you think those streams help Akita?
**Arthur**: The Funding. We managed to get Funding from <a href="/zh-tw/price/gitcoin-gtc" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Gitcoin</a>. It's 10T $AKITA. With the help of Funding we were able to launch our own DAO. Funding will also help us make some new CEX listings for AKITA INU (also HACHI). We're aiming for Tier 1 CEXs in future. A lot is possible when you have a guaranteed Funding stream. Things will really start to go UP when the Market picks up! I think that a lot of people still don't know that we have this Funding. Which is meant for the AKITA-NETWORK Ecosystem.

### Q4: You mention you have launched your own DAO? That's pretty cool. tell us more about Akita Dao and what's the purpose for it.
**Arthur**: The purpose of AKITA DAO is to make our community more active.

We want Community members to really understand the Power of DAO. We have tool that can help you Deliver your vision/idea for Community benefits.

If there is someone with good ideas and support from Community, great things will happen.

### Q5: So it seems you guys are pretty open for everyone with this approach, ya? Maybe tell us more about who and how to participate in Akita Dao?
**Arthur**: Yes. Definitely.

For someone hearing those letters DAO (decentralized autonomous organization).

It's confusing.
So.

AKITA DAO is for Everyone. No matter where you are. You only need a good Idea to start. There's great Support from OG members who will help you with Everything.

You can also participate as an Active Community member who will always love to Discuss about new ideas. You can also participate by Voting for your favourite AKITA DAO proposal. All you need is some HACHI in your private wallet to be eligible to vote.

### Q6: Could you elaborate more on the Akita Dao governance token? Is it going to replace $Akita?
**Arthur**: Yes.

I still see that some Community members/newcomers are thinking that $HACHI is the next $AKITA.

The answer is very simple. There will always be AKITA INU.

The ONE and Only Dog.

HACHI is our Governance Token. Currently that's the only utility.

If you're not counting that you can use your $HACHI for DAO voting.

But we're also thinking that HACHI can help us increase our AKITA DAO treasury.

If you check the Tokenomics for HACHI you will see that HACHI is also meant for other things.

It's for future Marketing, Leadership and Community. If we will be able to make HACHI more valuable, this Means that it can also help the whole AKITA-NETWORK ecosystem.

### Q7: Who are the people/team behind the project?
**Arthur**: It's not like there's a Team. It's DAO now. Community members make decisions/proposals.

There are three Stewards who will help you guide through all necessary processes to be a part of Community Leading. Currently I can say that there are not so many activists with interesting ideas. But I'm more than sure that it will change when Market gets even better!

### Q8: You mentioned before that you guys are on eth and avax, right? any plans to bridge to other L1s or L2s in the future?
**Arthur**: Yes. That's correct.  Currently we're on ETH and AVAX Blockchains.

When time is right we'll be more than ready for New DAO proposal for that. Currently we're limited with our Budget so we're trying to make smart decisions!

### Q9: Last question a bit more general - where do you see the project heading in 1/2/4 year - in terms of roadmap.
It's up to Community. But I can see that AKITA-NETWORK Will continue to expand.

I can see big CEX listings, I can see some interesting collaborations, I can see new bridges to new chains.

AKITA-NETWORK network will be a Lifestyle!
