## What is the RADAR utility and are there any changes presented in the recently updated Whitepaper?
**Dragos Dunica (Co-founder):**
The RADAR token serves multiple purposes within the DappRadar ecosystem, with several key utilities:

Staking: Staking is fundamental to the DappRadar ecosystem, acting as a foundation for product and tokenomics elements. Users can stake RADAR tokens to access the PRO membership, which unlocks advanced features and benefits. Staking also ties to Boosting Power, which I’ll explain later, and it acts as a token sink and reduces the circulating supply of RADAR tokens. In the new update there are going to be a few changes where the product is going to be directly connected to the Staking feature.

PRO Membership: DappRadar PRO offers advanced features and benefits to users who stake RADAR tokens. As we continue to develop the platform, PRO membership becomes more valuable, incentivizing users to stake their tokens and strengthening the token economy. I can expand on this separately, because it is a much bigger topic.

Boosting Power: By staking RADAR tokens, users receive Boosting Power to support their favorite dapps, increasing their visibility on the platform. This utility encourages stakeholders like VCs, marketing agencies, app publishers, communities, and individual users to acquire and stake RADAR tokens.

Buyback Program: To support market demand for RADAR tokens, the Buyback program reinvests a portion of DappRadar's revenue into buying RADAR tokens from the open market, which are then sent to the DAO treasury. This initiative aims to ensure broader accessibility to DappRadar products and features without restricting potential users or partners. DappRadar has a few existing revenue streams and we’re now working on a few DAO-native opportunities that will contribute directly to this utility.

Governance: RADAR token holders can participate in shaping the future of the DappRadar DAO and platform. They can provide feedback, vote on proposals, or create their own proposals, fostering a collaborative and decentralized ecosystem. Currently, we have 3 on-going proposals and probably one of the most important one that is related to PRO 2.0 on staking is still up and running.

## How will the PRO membership change for users, and you're also bringing PRO to developers?
**Dragos Dunica (Co-founder):**
DappRadar PRO has evolved significantly since its introduction alongside RADAR in December 2021. Initially, it offered a few advanced features aimed at enhancing the utility for RADAR holders. We have since added more value to PRO users by including features such as Advanced Alerts, downloadable data, and access to all smart contracts of a dapp. With the upcoming update, PRO membership will become slightly more expensive, and the only way to acquire it will be by staking RADAR tokens. This is because of a few reasons: align the value offered by PRO services and keep adjusting the token economy to reach the desired form.

Alongside the existing PRO membership for users, we are introducing "Premium for Dapp Developers," which will function differently. By paying a monthly sub_script_ion in either fiat or crypto, dapp developers will gain access to a suite of tools and features designed to help them with user acquisition, connect with their audience, offer transparency through data, and keep their community updated on their progress. We will expand on this concept in the Whitepaper and continue to roll out new features in the coming quarters.

PRO membership will become more prominent across our platform, catering to both users and developers seeking more advanced data, extra features, and an overall improved experience.

## DappRadar is moving into a DAO, with RADAR at its core. What's the process in that and how will we see this?
**Dragos Dunica (Co-founder):**
The transition to a fully decentralized DAO is a gradual and carefully planned process, which began in December 2021. We are following several steps to ensure a successful transition:

Progressive Decentralization: We are embracing community collaboration and feedback while working on internal processes to bring more transparency and a "work in public" mindset. This is challenging as it requires a new level of openness and adaptability from our team members. Mention legal & finance process (LFG).

Internal Learning Sessions: We are educating our team on DAO operations, covering aspects such as voting proposals, hiring, onboarding, team management, and establishing efficient processes to deliver results, as a DAO.

Community Proposals and Voting: We have had over 10 proposals so far, collaborating closely with our community to shape them and vote on them through Snapshot. We aim to increase community involvement in creating proposals and voting. Transparency, build in public mindset

Roadmap: Our roadmap outlines important initiatives for the year, including finalizing the legal and financial structure to operate as a DAO in an uncertain environment. We will also launch an ambassador program, publish a DAO constitution, and form a council to advance progressive decentralization.

Technical Development: We plan to open-source more of our codebase and enable stakeholders to contribute directly to the DAO.

By following this process, we aim to build a strong foundation for our DAO, ensuring a smooth transition while actively involving our community and stakeholders in shaping the future of DappRadar.

## In the roadmap you mentioned Buybacks? Can you give us an idea and a thought process behind this?
**Dragos Dunica (Co-founder):**
Certainly, the introduction of Buybacks in our roadmap was a carefully considered decision based on extensive collaboration with tokenomics experts. Our goal was to identify all key stakeholders in the DappRadar ecosystem, map the value they bring, and design appropriate incentives to ensure a healthy economy.

We modeled the tokenomics to examine the demand and supply ratio and find ways to balance it, ultimately ensuring a sustainable ecosystem. DappRadar has multiple revenue streams funding its operations and product development. As we introduce new revenue streams, some will be DAO-native, meaning that revenues will either go directly to the DAO treasury or be used to buy back RADAR tokens from the market and send them to the DAO treasury.

Our long-term goal is to transition as many revenue streams as possible to a similar mechanic, increasing the amount of RADAR tokens purchased from the market based on the total revenue generated by DappRadar. This creates a direct connection between the success of the business and the token, ensuring focus and a strong fundamental relationship between the two.

Not all revenue streams can be priced in RADAR, and some clients cannot operate with crypto or tokens. In these cases, using traditional methods like banks and fiat currency remains the best choice. The Buyback program creates the necessary connection between traditional and crypto revenue streams, allowing for a more inclusive and adaptable business model.

By implementing Buybacks, we aim to create a stronger connection between DappRadar's success and the RADAR token while addressing market limitations and building a sustainable ecosystem.
