The FIL Fast Finality (F3) team is now conducting final stage preparation tests on the main network Mạng chính. By reducing the finality time from around 900 block heights to only about 2, F3 brings advantages including faster transaction confirmation, enhanced cross-chain interaction experience, more efficient lightweight user end, and streamlined storage provider data storage process. In the next 2-4 weeks, the team will continue to collect data on the rationality of F3 implementation through passive testing. If no critical issues arise during the final stage of testing, the release process of F3 may follow the following timeline: Early December 2024- Release the calibration nv25 upgrade and deploy the final F3 code (F3 has been activated and running); Mid-December 2024- User end release Mạng chính nv25/ F3 activated block height set; January 2025- Mạng chính nv25/ F3 activated.
