ETH swap button is on Gate Web now, and users can find it in Wallet--Spot Account and swap ETH into two "potential forked" tokens, ETHS and ETHW at a 1:1 ratio. Users are also allowed to swap their ETHS and ETHW back into ETH at the same ratio before the upgrade. We will inform you once our official swap page is ready.

1.ETH potential forked tokens ETHS +ETHW swap entry and swap process

Step1. Log in on the Gate.io Web and find your ETH on Wallet--Spot Account

And then log in your account, click the Wallet on the top right of home page and then click Classic Account--Spot Account


Step2. Turn to the Spot Account and swap ETH into two "potential forked" tokens, ETHS and ETHW and users are allowed to swap their ETH back anytime before ETH 2.0 Upgrade

Users who have already hold ETH are allowed to swap their ETH into two "potential forked"tokens, ETHS and ETHW by searching ETH and click the "swap button"
under the ETH icon, and users could also swap back into their ETH back by clicking the "forked tokens swap button”




2.Forked tokens ETHS+ETHW trading time

1)Swap period: Until ETH2.0 Upgrade
2)The trading time of forked tokens ETHS and ETHW
Trading will begin on 9th, August 2022 4:00 UTC
3)Trading Pairs : ETHS/USDT；ETHS/ETH；ETHW/USDT；ETHW/ETH

※The deposit and withdrawal of ETHS [IOU] and ETHW [IOU] will always be closed.
※The swap of forked tokens ETHS and ETHW on Gate.io is only available on Gate Web and more details about how users can swap their tokens are attached above. We will inform you as soon as possible when the official swap page is ready.
