## Q&A from Gate.io
### Q1: So, first and foremost, what is NASDEX? Is it DEX? What product does it provide?
**Belinda**: Thanks Tom! I will take the first Q.

So from the name, you will know it's a DEX and it has to do with stocks.

NASDEX is the premiere decentralized exchange enabling the trading of Asian stocks on-chain.

The DEX will allow users the ability to manage all positions, including stock and crypto, across a single platform by simply connecting their wallets.

I'm sure managing a portfolio in a web3 way has been a dream for many crypto folks.

So to put simply, nasdex.xyz is a user friendly platform where investors could buy and sell tokenized equity as easily as crypto with 24/7 trading, fractionalized share buying, and yield farming.

Just imagine you from Turkey get to purchase $COIN or $BABA, which are out of your jurisdiction
And not just you can own these Alibaba or Coinbase stocks, you can set up Baba/USDT pairs and earn liquidity mining rewards and swap fees.

Tokenized stock is the first step, in the future, our product offerings will be expanded to ETFs, indices, and physical commodities.

Leveraged trading will also be available in future versions.

### Q2: Thanks Belinda, I'm sure plenty of people in the crypto community will be excited for a platform that allows for decentralized tokenized stocks. Now, why don't you guys tell us a little bit about yourselves... your backstory, how you got into crypto, and what has brought you here today?
**Belinda**: 100%!

I'm from the <a href="/price/bitcoin-btc" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Bitcoin</a> class of 2018!

That's when I went down the rabbit hole of blockchain.

Ever since then, I have helped quite a number of projects, tokens funds and exchanges with marketing and community efforts.

Crypto is basically my first job after university. It's incredible growing up with space.

Here in NASDEX, I will also be leading the PR, marketing and community efforts!

**Josh**: My career has actually been mostly spent in Tradfi.

So for the past 15 years, I had a career as a institutional fund manager. Spent time at many hedge funds, and large legacy banks like morgan stanley, deutsche bank, etc.

But of course, I've seen the light. I've been personally investing in the crypto space for several years. And now I'm all-in crypto and DeFi as investor and founder.

### Q3: Going back to the project, what makes NASDEX different from other Exchanges out there?
**Josh**: Sure I can answer this one.

So the main feature is the tokenization of equities so that stocks can be traded on a chain.

Users can buy their favorite stocks through our dex without the need of kyc, which means that users can be located anywhere in the world without worrying about account opening.

Then users can stake those tokenized assets to earn even more yield. And since it's crypto, the access to trading is open 24/7.

Right now our dex is focused on Asian investors with mainly Asian stocks to be tokenized for the first time ever with names like Tencent, Meituan, TSMC, Samsung etc etc.

And since all assets can be tokenied and probably will be at some point, our platform will gradually increase the offerings by including exposure to etfs, indexs and other additional asset classes and derivatives.

Essentially we are targeting a completely different TAM than most traditional crypto DEX out there.

### Q4: Now can you tell us about the $NSDX token? What are the token use-cases and distribution like?
**Josh**: Sure the token's main function is basically to share the profits of NASDEX with our community and NSDX token holders.

NSDX holders will share in all the upside of NASDEX through receiving part of the platform revenue
Other functions of the token include governance features like the ability to vote on new stocks to list. And NSDX will also be useful as collateral in the minting of tokenized stocks in the future.

In fact, we have 40% of total tokenomics allocated to stock farm LP farming, which is going live in Q4 along with our product so please stay tuned.

### Q5: Could you give us some information about the project's roadmap, your milestones, and also your future plans?
**Belinda**: Yeah we have some pretty exciting updates.

Our NSDX token is right tradable on Quickswap DEX and ofc gate.io.

Now we have partnered with Anyswap and at 2PM UTC Nov 4, our native token $NSDX will go on Pancakeswap!

Which is in 30min!

Many bsc folks are so looking forward to this!

In terms of tokenized stock DEX, our liquidity mining there will be live within Q4.
