Gate Charity Hosts Hybrid NFT Event Featuring Asian Art to Support Charitable Causes

At just over a year old, Gate Charity has generated significant social impact in regions worldwide through a mix of blockchain-based and traditional philanthropy. To celebrate this journey and fundraise for charity, Gate Charity hosted Gatsby’s Charity Night on February 28. The event, sponsored by MUKStudio, was a hybrid physical and online Web3 fundraiser that featured discussions on blockchain and philanthropy, an NFT art showcase, and entertainment.

Attendees gained access through the acquisition of digital and physical NFTs, crafted in partnership with eight distinguished artists including Manjuu (Meendart), Han, pinkHoney, Duriduri, MULGOM, DuckYou18, Topcy, and Szé. Additionally, guests could purchase coupons for gaming, food, and merchandise. The proceeds from all NFT and coupon sales are earmarked to support upcoming charitable projects.

The event began with a brief welcome and networking session, followed by an introduction to Gate Charity, its mission to promote balanced development worldwide, and its history in blockchain-based philanthropy. Discussions focused on how blockchain technology, such as NFTs, can create new fundraising opportunities by leveraging digital ownership, internet culture, art, and universal access and payments.
