Gate.io is going to commence Mercurial (MER) trading on May.21, 2021 1:00 PM UTC.
About MER:
It is stableswap on steroids. Two of the main innovations, dynamic vaults and dynamic fees enable more efficient capital allocation, and provide better risk adjusted returns to LPs. Dynamic vaults enable the deployment of pooled assets (that would ordinarily be idle) to yield generating opportunities across the Solana eco (think YFI). Dynamic fees offset the increased risk taken in these pools during turbulent markets by compensating them through increased fees. As more liquidity is provided by participants drawn in by the improved returns, the protocol can in turn offer better prices to traders, which ultimately drives greater trading volume. All of this whilst retaining Curve’s inherent low slippage for stables - a win for LPs AND Traders.No longer will LPs have to choose between earning fees or yields from other farms — with Mercurial, both can be done at the same time.
