PANews November 21st news, according to Sifted, encryptionWalletDeblock created by former Revolut and Ledger executives has completed an additional £13.3 million (approximately $16.8 million) in seed financing, according to documents filed by the UK Companies Registry this month. Another document from October showed that Headline, Hoxton, 20VC, and Chalfen were the main investors in this round of financing. Sifted previously reported that the startup quietly raised €12 million last year. According to reports, in August 2022, Jean Meyer, former Revolut Cryptocurrency director, Aaron Beck, payment director, and Mario Eguiliuz, former engineering director at Ledger, jointly founded Deblock. Later that year, the startup hired Adriana Restrepo, former Chief Operating Officer of Revolut Europe's banking business, as its fourth co-founder. Jean Meyer, CEO of Deblock, declined to comment on this round of financing. According to its website, the Deblock application is currently only available in France and is regulated by Electronic Money institutions and digital asset service providers in France.
