In response, Chiliz filed civil and criminal lawsuits, accusing the former employee of violating confidentiality agreements and spreading false information to the media. The civil lawsuit seeks compensation, while the criminal lawsuit accuses defamation. In April, the former employee lost the compensation case, but the prosecutor dismissed the defamation charge due to insufficient evidence.
