PANews reported on June 26th that a legal dispute occurred between the sports and entertainment public chain Chiliz Chain and its former Korean employee, according to No Cut News. The dispute arose when the former employee sued Chiliz officials on April 19th, claiming that the token compensation promised during their work for the project from 2020 to 2022 was never fulfilled and that they were dismissed for raising this issue. In response, Chiliz filed civil and criminal lawsuits, accusing the former employee of violating confidentiality agreements and spreading false information to the media. The civil lawsuit seeks compensation, while the criminal lawsuit accuses defamation. In April, the former employee lost the compensation case, but the prosecutor dismissed the defamation charge due to insufficient evidence.
