The MakerDAO voting on November 8th decided to maintain its recent rebranding and still be renamed Sky. Previously, it was strongly opposed by the outside world, believing that this DAO, which is the oldest and largest Ethereum-based Stablecoin organization behind DAI, was wasting the recognition of the entire industry. In the vote, nearly 80% of the voting shares supported the retention of 'Sky as the backend protocol brand'. However, out of approximately 20 voting entities, only four entities accounted for almost all of the voting shares, each entity having about 20% of the votes, and only one large entity opposed the proposal.
