According to the Russian "Information Daily" , the Russian Federal Tax Bureau proposed a legislation to allow Russian companies to pay for import and export business in cryptocurrency.

It is reported that in the digital currency supervision bill currently under discussion in Russia, it is clearly proposed to prohibit the use of digital assets as a means of payment, but the bill also contains a provision that "unless otherwise stipulated in this Law", the ban is effective.

In this regard, the Russian Federal Tax Bureau suggests that the Ministry of Finance make exceptions to the business and supplement the following provisions in the document: "legal entities are allowed to pay for goods, work, foreign trade contract services and receive income from foreign entities in digital currency. The position of the Russian Ministry of Finance on the proposal is "partially supported".
